Selected GCI Government Contracts

CLASS:  The overall objective of the Clinical Acquisition for Support Services (CLASS) program is to fill clinical staffing shortages at Air Force Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) throughout the United States, including in Alaska and Hawaii and on Guam. The CLASS program is designed to supplement the existing clinical staff with qualified clinical personnel who provide direct healthcare services.

The clinical services on the CLASS contracts include professional, dental, nursing, ancillary, and technical services that provide direct patient care. In the six months from June 2012 until January 2013, for example, the GCI team has placed 78 full-time personnel in 21 different categories at Air Force healthcare facilities.  Personnel placed include RNs, a psychiatrist, dental services personnel, pharmacists, radiologists and physical therapists, plus one half-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and including one Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW.

Hill AFB Occupational Clinic: The GCI effort providing 100% of the staffing and the overall management of the Occupational Medicine Services Clinic located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, gave the company an opportunity to provide a multitude of services under one roof.

GCI consistently provides qualified credentialed and non-credentialed healthcare workers, and GCI’s management of this contract is highly regarded in the area of U.S. Air Force Occupational Medicine.  GCI provided services for the Ogden Air Logistics Center and its subordinate commands and tenant organizations at Hill AFB with 100% of the 23 necessary positions consistently filled.  This was possible because the company has an efficient credentialing process, GCI places people very quickly when replacements are needed, and GCI carefully pre-screens all potential candidates by verifying licenses, education, certifications and required immunizations and checking references.

Fort Carson Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) Center: GCI currently provides 10 Medical Clerks to perform a variety of administrative support services, including receptionist and clerical tasks, for the Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) center and the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) at the Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado.  We are proud of the work these people do and they have also been commended by the Air Force personnel in charge of the Fort Carson medical treatment facilities.
