  • Salary- $85,000 – $95,000

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance is required, with SCI eligibility (before start)

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required, but Master’s is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of the following types of experience:
  • Within AOC’s Targeting Effects Team or USAF Targeting Center
  • AOC products/processes/TTPs
  • AOC systems
  • AOC Exercises (highly desired)
  • NAF level experience required (AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience desired)

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The SME must know the details of doctrinal AOC targeting cell processes to incorporate all joint force prioritized target selections for each ATO from the target nomination list (TNL) into a draft Joint Integrated Prioritized Target List (JIPTL) that achieves desired kinetic and/or non-kinetic effects stated in the AOD. Will address the following as required by training audience needs and replication/white cell participation by external or internal
  • SME will transmit JIPTL to MAAP planners using current operational systems. Prioritize nominated targets by their associated prioritized tasks and ensure all target nominations support strategy-to-task and effects-based planning to meet the training and exercise objectives.
  • SME will coordinate with the ISR cell on targeting-related collection requirements as input to the CPCL as Coordinate STO capabilities into combat planning as required for training replication objectives. Develop a standard TET brief to obtain C/JFACC or CCO approval of draft JIPTL and apportionment recommendations, as required for exercise objectives.
  • SME will attend key targeting meetings such as the TET, JTCB, SAP meetings, and other targeting related Work closely with the Strategy and MAAP AOC RC/White force cells to ensure exercise requirements are being supported.
  • SME shall remain proficient with the targeting tools currently being used in the operational environment, including, but not limited to, JTT and JAWS.
  • Coordinate with Air Force, joint service and coalition participants or training audiences to develop target nominations from the JTL as required to meet CFC objectives.

 

  • Assist in the proper integration of the BCD and other service If service LNOs are not available, then support to the white cell is used.
  • As required, travel to attend exercise planning conferences to represent the AOC
