The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract supports national defense objectives by ensuring continuous, layered protection against air, missile, space, cyber, and hybrid threats originating from any vector — land, sea, air, space, or cyberspace.
This effort supports commercial and non-commercial services and commodities across both classified and unclassified efforts on multiple security domains. Only DoD departments and agencies may be authorized to use the IDIQ if their requirement is for the same or similar supplies or services.
