President and CEO
Sandeep Sharma is the founder, President and CEO of GCI. His leadership philosophy underlies GCI’s core principles and is evident in our high employee retention rate. Sandeep has more than 20 years of experience executing IT consulting projects worldwide. Prior to founding GCI, Sandeep worked for Oracle USA as an ERP consultant. During his tenure at Oracle USA, he held various positions in delivery and practice management for the Oracle E-Business Suite, a comprehensive suite of integrated business applications that enable organizations to make better decisions, reduce costs and increase performance. This knowledge has helped Sandeep develop and expand a top-tier business. In 2013, Sandeep was awarded as the SBA 8(a) Minority Small Business Person of the Year, as well as recipient of the Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award. In 2012, he was recognized as the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Patriotic Employer of the Year Award.

Director of Business Development
Jenny Bringslid is the Director of Business Development for GCI. Jenny has more than 15 years of experience as a business development professional. Spending the majority of her career in the defense industry, Jenny has a proven track record of revenue-generating contract awards. Her efforts have consistently resulted in high probability of win opportunity pursuits and winning proposals. Jenny’s background is in building, managing and leading successful business development teams in pursuing large and small technical, logistical, medical and engineering contracts.
Director of Contracts
Sandy Dare is the Director of Contracts. Sandy is an accomplished leader in contract operations, program and materials management and purchasing. She has held various management positions throughout her 25 years of experience in commercial and government contracting. Prior to joining GCI, Sandy worked for a large business as the Acquisition Contracts Manager. As the Acquisition Contracts Manager, she led and managed a team of about 25 to 30 people. Her area of responsibility included overseeing procurement, contract administrators, administration of the prime contract, subcontracting, purchasing coordinators, estimators and cost/price analysts. The acquisitions ranged from micro purchases to multi-million dollar contracts.
Director of Human Resources
Debbie Sweeting is the Director of Human Resources. Debbie has more than 25 years of experience working in human resources and human capital management providing HR planning and leadership across high-hazard, diverse industries. Prior to working at GCI, Debbie directed, motivated and empowered a team of HR generalists to support HR activities for a workforce of 1,200 employees. She is noted for her leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
Steven Nielson is the Controller for GCI. Steven is a results-producing executive, having held many positions throughout his 20 years of experience. Steven has held many positions ranging from general ledger accountant to Chief Financial Officer. Steve was responsible for helping grow a company from 75 million to more than 500 million in annual revenue in just seven years. He also led a streamlining project saving the company more than $500k annual. Steven also has knowledge in startups, taxation, system implementation and international accounting.
